Card of the Month Program

The project kits will arrive at your home on a monthly schedule. The kits will contain all the velvet images, sayings, papers, an envelope, embellishments and "other" items needed to complete the card. You will be able to print off the instructions and a completed sample of the cards.

Program Prices: $72.00 for 12 months plus $12.00 postage--total $84.00
$36.00 for 6 months plus $6.00 postage--total $42.00

Price per individual card kit: $7.00 plus $1.00 for postage.

COTM027 New Year Hugs

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or paper glue

Measurements:

Main card: 6 1/4 x 9 1/4
Folds to: 4 5/8 x 6 1/4
Decorative Panel: 4 1/4 x 6
Dark Panel: 4 x 5 3/4
White Panel: 3 3/4 x 5 1/2

Instructions:

1. Detail trim the bear NOT on cardstock
2. Layer the cardstock/decorative paper panels.
3. Place the panels onto the main card.
4. Complete the inside of the card.
5. Position the bear onto the card.
6. Take the advise: Give Yourself a Hug Everyday!! And, Happy New Year! We wish you all a great 2008!!

COTM028 Valentine Pillow Treat Boxes

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape
Candy Bars!!

Instructions:

1. Layer the decorative papers into place on the pillow box.
2. Layer the sayings. Fill out the To/From card at this time if possible (it will be easier flat than on the curve).
3. Score the back of the Peel'n'Stick to remove the backing.
4. Place velvet hearts and sayings onto the box.
5. Gently fold the scored lines into place.
6. Double stick tape one end and the lengthwise section.
7. Fill with Valentine treats for your family and friends!
8. Seal the open end.
9. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

COTM029 Elegant Cross Easter 2008

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive

Measurements:

Main Card: 6 1/4 x 9 1/4
Folds to: 4 5/8 x 6 1/4
Each panel then is 1/4 smaller

Instruction:

1. Detail trim the cross.
2. Layer the decorative and cardstock panels together--inside and out.
3. Layer on the sayings.
4. Layer the cross onto the main card
5. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the flower onto the cross.
6. Have a Blessed and Wonderful Easter everyone!

COTM030 Springtime Iris

Supplies needed:

Double Stick tape or lightweight glue (for paper)
Dries Clear Adhesive
Pop Dots

Measurements:

Main Card: 6 1/4 x 9 1/4
Folds to: 4 5/8 x 6 1/4
Decorative paper: 4 1/4 x 6

Instructions:

1. Tape or glue the decorative papers onto the main card.
2. Arrange the sayings inside and layer on.
3. Arrange the butterflies. The Aztec Gold butterfly is on cardstock because the purple gingham shows through otherwise. The other butterflies on NOT on support stock.
4. Place the stem straight onto the card.
5. Pop dot the iris head above the stem. Pop dots will not stick to the velvet. It may be easier to place the pop dots onto the main card and then place the image over the top.
6. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue on the rhinestone butterflies. Allow to dry.

COTM030 Bonus

Because we were late in getting this card project sent out, you are getting a bonus. Tulips for temporary appliqué. Simply remove the Peel'n'Stick and arrange onto your shirt, bag, or any item. When you are ready to launder your item, simply remove the tulips, place them on a sheet of freezer paper, wash the garment, and replace the tulips!

COTM031 You're a Prince (Father's Day)

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Pop dots: 1/8 inch
Dries clear adhesive
Decorative Corner Edgers (optional for inside sayings)
These have been discontinued by Fiskars, but we were able to order in before they were completely gone. If you would like a pair, you will need to order soon. There are four varieties available. We will have them on-line soon.

Measurements:

Main card: 6 1/4 x 9 1/4
Folds to: 4 5/8 x 6 1/4
Decorative Panels: 4 1/4 x 6

Instructions:

1. Detail trim frog if not already trimmed--NOT on cardstock.
2. Detail trim hat on the white support cardstock if not already trimmed.
3. Layer on the decorative panels
4. Layer on the sayings, cutting the corners if desired.
5. Remove the Peel'n'Stick and place the frog directly onto the card.
6. Using pop dots, position the hat onto the card. Remember that pop dots will not stick to velvet, so it may be easier to place the pop dots onto the card and then place the hat onto the pop dots.
7. Glue on the bow if needed.
8. Have a nice day celebrating the special fathers in your family or circle of friends.

COTM032 Cupcake Honeycomb Card

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots
Dries clear adhesive

Measurements:

Instructions:

1. Detail trim the cupcake pieces. The cupcake top is on support stock.
2. Layer on the decorative papers. Do not do your inside sayings yet.
3. Cut out the patterns from the small decorative cardstock sheets.
4. Trace the patterns onto the honeycomb sections. Line up the edge of the pattern with the edge of the honeycomb. Cut out the sections.
5. Put dots of the dries clear glue onto one side of the honeycomb. Place it down even with the fold of the card. Do this with both the top and the liner.
6. Place dots of glue onto the exposed side of the honeycomb. Simply close the card to get it to adhere.
7. Now, place on your sayings.
8. Allow the card to sit open for a bit to completely dry.
9. Place the liner right down on the main card.
10. Pop dot the cupcake top onto the main card. Remember that the pop dots will not stick to velvet when placing your dots.
11. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the rhinestones onto the cupcake top. Allow to dry.
