Card of the Month Program

The
project kits will arrive at your home on a monthly schedule. The kits will
contain all the velvet images, sayings, papers, an envelope,
embellishments and "other" items needed to complete the card.
You will be able to print off the instructions and a completed
sample of the cards.

COTM019 World's Greatest "Pop" Popcorn Card
Stamps by: Popcorn by Heartlooms.
Popcorn tub is a constructed pattern.
Sayings are computer generated.
Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots 1/8 inch
Popcorn Inside
Measurements:
Main card: 6 3/4 x 9 5/8
Folds to: 4 3/4 x 6 3/4
Decorative panels: 4 1/2 x 6 1/4
Instructions:
1. Detail trim the popcorn.
2. Layer on the decorative panels.
3. Layer on the popcorn tub and the popcorn saying.
4. Complete the inside of the card.
5. Using a combination of tape and pop dots, arrange and attach the
popcorn to the main card.
6. Not a lot of instructions for this very, very cute card!
COTM020 4th of July 2007

Supplies needed:
Double Stick Tape or Glue
Dries Clear Adhesive
Markers
Measurements:
Main Card: 8 x 11 1/4
Folds to: 5 5/8 x 8
Decorative panels: 5 1/4 x 7 1/2
Instructions:
1. Detail trim the velvet pieces.
2. Layer the decorative panels onto the card inside and out.
3. Layer on the outside layer and saying. Color the saying
(even though ours is plain right now).
4. Place on the velvet stars.
5. Trace the pattern onto the honeycomb. **Position the
straight edge of the pattern on the straight edge of the honeycomb.
Either edge will be just fine.** (There is extra honeycomb if needed.)
6. Cut the honeycomb.
7. Using the dries clear adhesive, lightly place glue on one side of
the blue honeycomb. Place it way at the bottom.
8. Repeat with the white. **Place the glue on the same side as
the blue.
10. Place glue on the three sides that are not glued yet.
11. Close the card to attach this side.
12. Layer your sayings and place them inside.
13. Position on the velvet stars.

COTM021 Fluffy, Puffy Lady Bear

Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots

Main card: 7 1/2 x 10
Folds to: 5 x 7 1/2

Instructions:
****There is a stuffed bear and a regular bear for you to use. The regular bear is for you to practice the following and the stuffed bear is for just in case.****
Fluffy, Puffy Teddy Bear
Instructions
1. Remove the
Peel’n’Stick from the bear.
2. Place one cotton square on the
“tummy” and legs.
3. Cut a section off of the cotton
square (rectangular). Then, cut
the corners off. Place this
section onto the head.
4. Quarter the third cotton
square.
5. Place one quarter on each arm.
Place one quarter on the chest. (With
the larger bear, you can double all of this to have a very fluffy, puffy
bear!).
6. Carefully turn the bear over
onto cardstock.
7. Firmly press down all the
edges.
8. Detail trim leaving a bit more
edge than normal.

Layer on the decorative papers.
10. Complete the inside of the card. (The blank white cardstock
piece is for the signature card).
11. Double stick tape the teddy bear onto the main card.
12. Using pop dots, attach the hat to the main card. ***Remember
that pop dots will not stick to the Peel'n'Stick. It may be easier to put
the pop dots onto the card and then the hat onto the pop dots.
13. Glue on the roses and allow to dry.
COTM022 You are My Sunshine Sun-flower Card

Supplies needed:
Double stick glue or tape
Dries clear adhesive
Decorative Scissors
Pop Dots 1/8 inch
Measurements:
Main Card: 6 1/2 x 10
Folds to 5 x 6 1/2
Decorative Panel: 4 1/2 x 6
Instructions:
1. Detail trim the stem NOT on cardstock.
2. Place the sun onto the support stock and detail trim.
3. Place the decorative panels on outside and inside.
4. Complete the inside of the card.
5. Use a decorative scissors to cut around the sunshine saying and its
border. Remember to use the signature card. If you wish, you can
color in the cheeks of the sun.
6. Place the stem onto the main card.
7. Using Pop Dots, attach the sun to the main card. Remember that
pop dots will not stick to velvet. You may wish to put the pop dots down
onto the main card and then place the sun on top.
8. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the sunglasses onto the
sun. Allow to dry.
9. Have a sun-shiny day!!
COTM023 Fall Leaves/Blessings 2007

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots 1/8 inch
Instructions:
1. Place one Aztec Gold Leaf onto support stock and
detail trim.
2. Detail trim all the leaves.
3. Place the decorative panels onto the main card. Notice the panel
on the front cover is slightly different than the panels on the inside.
4. Mount the sayings and layer. The papers are a bit mix and match
this month, so have fun being creative!
5. Start attaching the leaves in your desired locations. The one
Aztec gold leaf on cardstock is to be mounted on the inside bottom.
6. We are feeling so blessed that it is finally FALL!

COTM024 Home is Where You Hang...

Inside Panels
Instructions:
1. Detail trim bats ***NOT ON CARDSTOCK***.
2. Place trimmed bats onto white stock and trim with a border.
3. Place bats onto black cardstock and trim with a border.
4. Layer on the decorative panels.
5. Trim and layer the sayings and the hat stand.
6. Layer on the inside sayings and bats using pop dots on the bat (s) of
your choice.
7. Layer on the outside sayings and hat stand.
8. Using pop dots, attach the hat to the hat stand.
9. Have fun with this unique and delightful Halloween card!
COTM025 Candy Cane Trio

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue (for gluing or taping the layers of
paper and cardstock together)
Dries Clear Adhesive
Measurements:
Main card: 6 3/4 x 11 1/2
Folds to: 5 3/4 x 6 3/4
White panel: 5 1/2 x 6 1/2
Decorative panel: 5 1/4 x 6 1/4
Instructions:
***Welcome to all the new participants in the Card of the Month program. The directions will be more detailed since we have many new participants.***
1. Remove the back of the Peel'n'Stick from the white
candy cane and place the cane onto the white supporting cardstock.
2. Detail trim all the candy canes. Remember that even when you are
detail trimming you want to stay a ways out from the edge of the design.
3. Using double stick tape (recommended) or a very lightweight glue,
layer the white panel and the decorative papers to the main card.
4. Using double stick tape or the lightweight glue, layer the sayings
together and layer onto the main card.
5. The FaLaLaLaLa is cut in the shape.
6. Position the candy canes in the order in which you would like
them. When you are ready, remove the Peel'n'Stick from the back of the
red and green canes and position onto the card. The white cane will be
attached with double stick tape or glue.
7. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the bows onto the candy
canes. Allow to dry.
8. There are areas on the sayings that would indicate some color being
added. Use colored pencils or markers to add a bit of color if desired.
9. The small blank piece of cardstock is to create a signature card as
shown.

COTM026 Holly-Daze Gift Bag

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or paper glue
Instructions:
We wanted to "mix-it up" a bit with our projects. Variety is the spice of life!
****None of the images will be on support cardstock for this project. You can detail trim them just as they are.
1. Detail trim your holly images if not already trimmed.
2. Position your holly images onto the bag where you would like them to
be placed.
3. Layer together the gift tag.
4. Position the little holly onto the gift tag.
5. Using the ribbon, tie the tag to the bag.
6. Use the tissue paper to stuff.
7. Now the hard part...what to put into the bag to give to someone very
dear and special to you. I would suggest Christmas Cookies!!
