Hi! My name is Mindy Myers and my mother (Marlean) and I are the the Daughter/Mother team of Heartlooms. Most of the time, we refer to Marlean as the "Velvet Queen"! So, I guess that would make me the "Velvet Princess"!
We had a retail rubber stamp store here in Montana since 1994. We decided to expand to the internet because Velvet Embossing (Instructions) is so wonderful and most of the world has yet to experience the absolute wonderfulness of velvet. Our store is located in a town that is in-between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. Because of our location we do receive many tourist each summer season. Stampers have been in from all over our country, Canada, and Australia, and have not ever seen the beauty of the velvet. Therefore, we know you're out there just yearning to get your hands on some velvet and experience the whole new world of Velvet Embossing.
If you are a reader of Stampin'
Arts and Crafts
Magazine, you
may recognize my name. I have been published four times since the
February 2001 issue! We are very excited. My "Hedgehog"
card was even on the cover of the February 2001 issue! That was totally,
outrageously, the thrill of my life!!
Then, my "Kitty in the
Bra" card was published in the June issue as well as my "Mardi
Gras" card. The July/August issue was particularly fun with the "Velvet Queen"
being published with her "Poppy" card, as well as my "Vellum
Poinsettia" card on the
same page!! All of our fun cards published and we
have not even started on our velvet cards. Be sure to pay attention,
though, we have cards on their way to all the stamping magazines, so it is just
a matter of time. Also, we are working on our own idea brochures that will
be available hopefully within a few months.
We have many, many ideas for our website. I cannot believe that our partial website is going to launch with fourteen pages!! So, we will be expanding by leaps and bounds. We invite you to contact us with any questions or comments at any time. We look forward to getting to know you and providing you with supplies to keep your creativity flowing.
