CEX 83 The Philosophy of Friendship and Ice
Cream Card
***Note***
The cover (shown above) is the "front" of the
card. The other panels "accordion-down" from there.
This time it makes a difference which panel is your front (we will discuss
that more fully later).
Stamps by: Ice Cream Cone by Parked on Rubber;
Cherry by Printworks.
Supplies needed:
double stick tape or glue
pop dots 1/16 inch
dries clear adhesive
|
 |
 |
|
Instructions:
1. Detail trim the cones. They are NOT going
on support stock.
2. Place all the ice cream pieces onto support stock and detail
trim.
3. Tape (or glue) the two cards together. To do this,
place the tape onto one "inside" panel of one of the cards.
Position the other card's panel over the tape and secure down. The
card needs to form a "zigzag" when placed on its side (make
sense? Let me know).
4. ****Now, for more confusing instructions. Hold the card up
so that the panels are "accordioning-down". Then, the
panel that folds over is the panel that needs to be used for the front
panel. (make sense? I think I will take some pictures).
5. Layer the papers onto the main panels. The papers may need
to be trimmed. I don't know if I was having a stroke when I was
measuring or what my problem was!!!
6. Remove the Peel'n'Stick and place the cones down. The cone
for the triple scooper needs to be placed at the very bottom of the
decorative paper. The cone for the double scooper needs to be placed
a little higher etc.
7. Place pop dots just to the top of the ice cream images.
Start positioning them from the bottom up slightly layering one over the
other.
8. Separate the sayings and layer onto the pink paper. The
sayings including "scooper..." need to be trimmed quite closely
so that they will fit.
9. Layer the sayings onto the main card.
10. Detail trim the cherry part of the cherry, but not the stem.
Then, score a line across the back of the Peel'n'Stick where the stem and
the cherry come together. Remove the backing from the stem part
only. Place this section onto support cardstock. Then, detail
trim the whole image. Then, trim the "excess" cardstock
off if there is any that is right behind the actual cherry.
11. Remove the backing from the cherry part of the image and
position onto the ice cream scoop.
12. Cut thin pieces of pop dots and place behind the stem.
Attach to the main card.
13. Do the signature card (on the back) if desired.
14. Complete the envelope.
15. Cute?!?!! |

CEX84 Golden and Silver
Anniversary Cards
Stamps by: Bells by Sonlite; Happy Anniversary (cover) by
Penny Black; other sayings by Embossing Arts; Darcies. |
Supplies needed:
Double stick or glue
dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots 1/8 inch |
|
Instructions:
1. Somewhat of a bonus for you this week!
I couldn't decide so you get both!!

3. Place Happy Anniversary cardstock and vellum together; slip
corners on. Be sure to secure the corners with double stick tape.
Do not put tape on vellum--YET.
4. Tape panel onto the main card.
5. Thread ribbon through the charms: bring both ends through
from the back and tie the first part of a knot in each one. Leave 3
inches or so of ribbon in-between the charms.
6. Loop up the "center" ribbon so that the hearts appear
hanging. Secure ribbon onto the back of the image with double stick
tape.
7. Place pop dots onto the back of the image and secure to the card.
8. NOW, this is a little weird. Take the vellum out of the
corners and turn it over. Place double stick tape to the back BEHIND
THE BELLS. Then, place back in the corners and secure down.
9. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue on the roses and the
ribbons. Allow to dry.
10. Complete the insides and the envelopes. |

4. Using the 1/16 inch pop dots, attach the parasol to the main

card.
7. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the rhinestones and bows to

CEX86 Velvet Kitty Bra
Stamps by: Kitty Bra (every image is on the same
stamp--they call it An Uplifting Occasion) by Penny Black; Clouds by
Stampendous!; Saying is computer generated.
Supplies needed:
double stick tape or glue
dries clear adhesive
pop dots 1/8 inch
markers
|
|
Instructions:
1. Detail trim the bra NOT ON SUPPORT STOCK AT THIS
TIME. There are inside straps on both the velvet and the paper
images. We are just going to cut those off completely. There
was no way to make it look correct with them on. Also, be sure to
cut the kitty's feet out from the inside of the bra.
2. Place panties and hanky onto support stock and detail trim.
3. Cut the kitty section of the cardstock. Remember to cut the
inside straps off completely.
4. Color the kitty. Allow to dry.
5. Complete the inside of the card.
6. Layer the paper and cardstocks onto the main card. Remember
that the corners are more for decoration than for function, so be sure to
reinforce them with double stick tape.
7. When the ink is dry, place the velvet bra image onto the
cardstock kitty image and trim if necessary.
8. Using the pop dots, attach the kitty bra image first to the main
card.
9. Attach the hanky and panties using the pop dots as well. Be
sure to align these two images with the kitty bra so that the clothesline
will be more or less even across the card.
10. String the ribbon across the card and attach the clothespins.
The clothespins and ribbon line are not attached to the card in anyway.
11. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the rhinestones and rose to
the image.
12. May your cups always runneth over with blessings!! |
