CEX134  Ladybug Birthday

Stamps by:  Ladybugs and Musical Happy Birthday to You by Posh Impressions;  Other Sayings by Dacies and Penny Black.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue

Measurements:

Main card:  8 1/2 x 14
Folds to:  7 x 8 1/2
Red Panel:  6 3/4 x 8 1/4 
Ladybug Panel:  6 1/2 x 8
Checkered Squares:  2 1/2 x 2 1/2

Instructions:

1.  Detail trim the ladybugs.  I do not have these on support stock or pop dotted, but you certainly could.
2.  Layer on the cardstock and decorative panels. 
3.  Layer on the sayings--inside and cover.
4.  Adhere the ladybugs to the main card.
5.  Simply, but really sweet!!

CEX135 Butterfly Cards

Stamps by:  Butterfly by Posh Impressions;  sayings by Stampendous.

Supplies needed:

double stick tape of glue
dries clear adhesive
clothespin

Main card original cut:  5 1/2 x 8 1/2
Folds to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
White panel:  3 3/4 x 5
Purple gingham:  3 1/2 x 4 3/4

 

Instructions:

1.  Detail trim the butterfly.
2.  Layer the cardstock and decorative paper to the main card.
3.  Complete the inside of the card.
4.  Push up the wings of the butterfly so that it has some dimension.  Apply glue to the body part of the butterfly (on the cardstock) and position onto the card.
5.  Using the dries clear adhesive, glue on the rhinestones and bow.  If needed, use a clothespin to hold the bow until it is set.
6.  Again, easy but very nice!!

CEX136  Magnolia Thank You

Stamps by:  Magnolia, Butterfly, Sayings by Posh Impressions;  other sayings by  Darcies.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots:  1/16, 1/8 inch
Tweezers (if desired)

1.  Both butterflies and the magnolia need to be placed onto support stock.  Then, detail trim.
2.  The leaves are NOT on support stock.  Detail trim.
3.  Layer the cardstock and papers onto the main card.
4.  Place the corners onto the "Thanks a Bunch" piece.  Remember that these corners are more for decoration than function, so be sure to place tape on the back of them.  Attach to the main card.  Be sure to place it very much toward the top of the green gingham so that the magnolia will fit!!
5.  Lay the leaves onto the card with the Peel'n'Stick attached.  Lay the magnolia over the leaves.  Then, attach the leaves one at a time using the magnolia as a guide.
6.  Using the 1/16 inch pop dots, attach the magnolia to the main card.  Remember that pop dots will not stick to velvet, so be sure to place them appropriately.
7.  Using the 1/8 inch pop dots, attach the butterflies to the main card.
8.  Complete the inside of the card.
9.  Using the dries clear adhesive (and tweezers), glue on all the rhinestones and the ladybug button.  Allow to dry!

CEX137  White Kitties Card

Stamps by:  Kitties by Art Gone Wild; Sayings by Darcies, Annticipations, SonLight.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots 1/8 inch

Measurements:

Instructions:

1.  Place kitties onto white cardstock and detail trim.
2.  Layer decorative paper and cardstock onto the main card.  There is interior lining paper included if you wish to completely line the inside of the card.  ****Remember that the corners are more decorative than functional, so make sure you have tape securing them onto the panel.
3.  Complete the inside of the card.
4.  Using pop dots, place the kitties onto the main card.
5.  Using dries clear adhesive, glue on the bows.  Allow to dry. 

CEX138  Farm Scene Notecards

Stamps by Farm Scene by Darcies;  Sun by Azadi/Limited Edition;  Saying by SonLight.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop dots  1/8 inch
Colored Pencils
Blue Dye Base Ink Pad
Sponge

Measurements:

Instructions:

1.  Place sun onto support cardstock and detail trim.
2.  With the blue ink pad (and sponge), sponge the sky.
3.  Color the farm scene.  I used colored pencils since there is so much detail.
4.  Layer the farm scene panel onto the main card.  Remember that the corners are more decorative than functional, so be sure to securely tape them onto the panel.
5.  Using pop dots, attach the sun to the main card.
6.  I was thinking that these would be more of a notecard than a greeting card.  So, you will need to decide how you want to finish the inside of them.
7. I had wanted to do this card for years--I am so glad it finally worked out for me!!
