COTM014  Rolling Pin/Gingerbread Boys

Stamps by:  Gingerbread Boy by Heartlooms;  Rolling Pin by Darcies;  Sayings by Darcies, The Stamp Pad and Penny Black.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots:  1/4 (or layer two 1/8)

Measurements:

Main Card:  9 x 12
Folds to:  6 x 9
Brown Panel:  5 1/4 x 8
Red Panel:  5 x 7 3/4
Decorative Panel:  4 3/4 x 7 1/2
Brown Panel:  3 3/4 x 6 1/2

Instructions:

1.  The gingerbread boys are already on support stock because I needed to punch the little hole in them.  I used a 1/16 inch punch which not everyone probably has.
2.  Place the rolling pin onto the support stock and detail trim all the images.
3.  Place the jump hoops through the tiny holes on the gingerbread boys.  You may need to use your scissors to "open" them up a bit.
4.  Place the open ends on either side of the rolling pin.  If you needed to "open", you may need to "close" a bit.  Using the dries clear adhesive, place a dollop of glue on the back of the pin encircling the jump hoop (make sense??).  Allow to dry.  And, it really did take a long time.  In fact, I think it may have needed overnight.
5.  Layer on the all the fun layers of cardstock and decorative paper.
6.  When the glue is dry around the jump hoops, use the 1/4 inch (or two 1/8 inch dots layered together) on the rolling pin only.  The gingerbread boys just hang loose!!
7.  Have Fun!!

Measurements:

Main card:  6 1/4 x 11
Folds to:  5 1/2 x 6 1/4
Decorative Panel:  5 1/4 x 6

COTM014  Poinsettia Christmas or Thank You

Stamps by Heartlooms

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries Clear Adhesive
Pop Dots:  1/8 inch

Instructions:

1.  Place all images onto support stock and detail trim.
2.  Layer on the decorative panel.
3.  Complete the inside of the card.
4.  Decide on your outside saying.  Trim and layer it with the green.
5.  Position the poinsettias without attaching.  Layer on the saying.
6.  Tape the red poinsettias flat onto the card.
7.  Using pop dots, attach the white poinsettia to the main card.  With this design, you need to place the pop dot (you will need to cut them) onto the main card and then place the white poinsettia  onto the pop dot.  You can then go under and add additional pieces of pop dot if you feel it is necessary.
8.  We wish you all a very, very Merry Christmas and a very, very Happy New Year!!

4.  Detail trim the stems--NOT on support stock.
5.  Place stems directly onto the main card.

COTM018  Earring Box Gift Card

Stamps:  Hearts by Heartlooms
Sayings by:  Heartlooms; Penny Black; Darices; Computer Generated

Materials needed:

Dries clear glue
Pop Dots or Foam

NOTE:  Because of the color themes of the earrings, the color themes of these cards also varies.

Measurements:

Main card
Folds to:

Decorative Panel solid:
Decorative Panel decorative:

Instructions:

****Note the opposite color combination for the sayings than the main panels***

1.  Layer on the solid and decorative panels on each of the five panels.  ******The right-hand panel is cut slightly smaller for ease in opening the card.  The front and back of this panel are layered with opposite color combinations which are cut smaller than for the other panels********
2.  Very front panel:  Shown above with Happy Birthday  uses three large hearts.
3.  The back of that panel:  Shown above with "This is the day..." uses three medium hearts.
4.  Right hand panel front/outside:  Shown above with "Sing and Dance" uses three medium hearts.
5.  Right hand panel back/inside:  Shown about with "Fun-filled day" and the signature card uses three small hearts.
6.  To attach the earring card to the main card, use pop dots or foam to the amount of 1/4 inch thick.  This allows the earring backs to have enough room not to be smashed into the card.
7.  To attach the card into the box:  place the back panel to the bottom of the box.  Slightly pull out from the sides.  Put 4-5 squirts of glue onto the side of the box.  Hold the cardstock panel against the box until firm.  Repeat on the other side.
8.  This project is totally different from anything we have ever done before!!!!!  Have fun with it!!!  (And, it is okay if you keep it for your self!!)
