Creative Express Instruction

Diaper Card (CE01)
Diaper Stamp by Darcies

Supplies you will need:

double stick tape or glue;
 A dries clear glue such as The Art Institutes Fabric Dries Clear Adhesive
(In many of our projects we will refer to using a dries clear adhesive. If you do not have a dries clear adhesive, we do strongly recommend the Fabric Dries Clear from The Art Institute.  We do carry it, of course, and you may order it on the Other Supplies  page.)

Instructions:

  1. Double stick tape or glue the decorative layer to the card.

  2. Detail cut the diaper--be sure not to cut to closely to the edge of the design.  Please refer to Velvet Embossing Instructions for complete cutting instructions.

  3. Peel off the back of the Peel'n'Stick and place onto the white cardstock (included with your kit).

  4. Trim around the diaper with a decorative scissors such as the deckle, mini pinking, or leaf.

  5. Double stick tape or glue the diaper onto the card.

  6. Complete the inside of the card with the included sayings.

  7. Cut the backs of the buttons off with a wire cutter or a large manicuring clippers.

  8. Place a "puddle" of dries clear adhesive onto the diaper where the pins are located. Place the buttons onto the adhesive.  Allow to dry.  Because the adhesive is a dries clear, you do not need to worry about it showing when it is dry!!

  9. Be sure your adhesive is a dries clear!!  I cannot stress that enough!!!

  10. Because there are small pieces included with the kit, please keep this (and all crafting supplies) out of the reach of your future stampers!!  We know how interested they always are in Mom's and Dad's stuff!!
