CEX178 Mountain Cabin
Card/Decorator Piece
(also great on the front of a scrapbook)

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots: 1/16 and 1/8 inch
Choice of coloring tools: Watercolor Crayons, Watercolor Pencils,
etc.

Measurements:
Main card: 8 1/2 x 17
Folds to: 8 1/2 x 8 1/2
Green Layer: 8 3/8 x 8 3/8
Decorative Panel: 8 x 8

Instructions:
1. Watercolor the scene panel and allow to
dry. I used watercolor crayons. (If you do not have the
glitter glue that is already put together and you need to use glue with
loose glitter, be sure to do that step before you have the velvet on the
card.)
2. Layer all velvet images onto the support stock and detail trim.
3. Using the dries clear adhesive (or actually any heavy duty glue),
glue the velvet roof onto the velvet house. I discovered this is
easier than trying to position pop dots.
4. Layer the green panel onto the main card.
5. Put the corners onto the decorative panel and layer onto the main
card. Remember that the corners are mainly for decoration and need
tape or glue reinforcement.
6. Complete the inside of the card.
7. Position the velvet images and the paper stones onto the main
card. When you are pleased with your lay-out, use the variety of pop
dots to attach the images to the main card. I have my stone path
completely flat. The house and closest tree with 1/8 inch. The
chimney slips under with 1/16 inch. The tree furthest from the house
with 1/4 inch.
8. Highlight the water and mountain tops with glitter glue and allow
to dry.
CEX179 Bright Daisy Card

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop dots: 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 inch
Measurements:
Main card: 11 x 17
Folds to: 8 1/2 x 11
Turquoise panel: 8 1/4 x 10 3/4
Butterfly Panel: 8 x 10 1/2
Instructions:
1. Mount all velvet
images onto support cardstock and detail trim.
2. Detail trim the cardstock images.
3. Layer on the cardstock and decorative papers.
4. Complete the inside of the card.
5. Arrange all the daisies onto the main card. When you are
pleased with your arrangement, start attaching:
6. Using the 1/8 pop dots, attach the basket onto the main card.
7. Using the 1/16 inch pop dots, attach the stems tucking them under
the basket.
8. All the cardstock daisies are flat on the card.
9. Using a combination of all three sizes of pop dots, attach the
velvet daisies to the main card. Remember that pop dots will not
stick to velvet and it may be easier to put the pop dots onto the main
card and then position the image onto the card.
10. Using the dries clear adhesive, glue the flowers onto the flower
pot and allow to dry.
CEX180 Magnolia with Color Thanks a Bunch Card 2005

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop dots: 1/8 inch
Measurements:
Main card: 5 1/2 x 11
Folds to: 5 1/2 x 5 1/2
Decorative Panel: 5 1/4 x 5 1/4
Instructions:
1. Place velvet
magnolia onto support cardstock and detail trim.
2. Detail trim the leaves--they are NOT on cardstock.
3. Layer the decorative panel onto the main card.
4. Position on the magnolia and leaves. When you are pleased
with your placement, start attaching:
5. I found it easier to position the magnolia first. Be sure
to place the pop dots away from where the leaves are going to be.
6. Remove the PNS from the leaves and tuck them under the magnolia
in your magnolia.
7. Place on the front saying.
8. Complete the inside of the card.
CEX181 Simple Sunflower Card

Supplies needed:
Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots: 1/16 and 1/8 inch
Colored Pencils or Markers (optional)
Measurements:
Main card: 7 x 10
Folds to: 5 x 7
Decorative Panel: 4 3/4 x 6 3/4
Instructions:
1. Place both images
onto support cardstock and detail trim.
2. Layer on the decorative panel.
3. Using the 1/16 inch pop dots, attach the stem to the main card.
4. Using the 1/8 inch pop dots, attach the sunflower to the main
card.
5. Complete the inside of the card.
6. Color the envelope if desired.
