FYI:  One of the greetings for the inside states:  "The only thing better than a good friend...
is a good friend with a basket full of chocolate!"

CEX166 Chocolate Eggs Card

Stamps by Darcies.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots:  1/8 inch and 1/16 inch

Measurements:

Main card:  7 1/2 x 12
Folds to:  6 x 7 1/2
Pink Panel:  5 7/8 x 7 3/8
Decorative Panel: 5 5/8 x 7 1/4
Pink Panel (in-set):  5 x 6
White Panel (in-set):  4 3/4 x 5 3/4

 Instructions:

1.  Place velvet egg onto support cardstock and detail trim.
2.  Cut egg into the two sections (as above) with a pinking shears.
3.  Layer the white and pink of the "in-set" section.
4.  Layer the pink and the decorative panels onto the main card.  Then layer the "in-set" section onto the main card.
5.  Complete the inside of the card.
6.  Using the 1/8 inch pop dots, attach the velvet egg portions to the main card.
7.  Using the 1/16 inch pop dots, attach the bottom row of foiled eggs to the main card.
8.  Then, using glue or double stick tape (I needed both), glue or tape the remaining foiled eggs behind the pop dotted eggs.  Double stick tape does not stick to the embossing powder on the eggs, so some glue (dries clear adhesive) needed to be used.
9.  Place your Happy Easter layered section onto the main card.
10.  Using dries clear adhesive, glue on the buttons and "frosting" sections.  The color of the button egg will vary.  Allow to dry.

***The foiled eggs were made with our Sizzix machine that we bought ourselves for Christmas.  We cut them out of colored mirrored cardstock then embossed them with Mirage embossing powder.  We are thrilled with the results.***

Have fun and Happy Easter!!!
