Cards
Fall Basket/Bow Card (CE06)
Stamps: Basket and Small Leaves by Darcies; Other Leaf by
VIP; Bow by Azadi/Limited Edition; Background Leaves and
Inside Saying by Ann-ticipations
Supplies you will need:
double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots 1/8 and 1/16
colored pencils
Instructions
1. Using colored pencils, lightly color leaves on background
sheet. Layer onto the main card.
2. Detail trim velvet pieces. For specific instructions,
please see Velvet Embossing Instructions.
NOTE: Please read the following very carefully. All the leaves
and the bow image need to be placed on cardstock. The bottom leaf
also needs to be placed onto an additional piece of Peel'n'Stick.
You can place the images onto cardstock (and additional Peel'n'Stick) and
detail trim all at once. However, if you have limited strength in
your cutting hand, you will want to trim one layer at a time. The
reason we are putting all the pieces onto cardstock is to strengthen the
image and to have solid surfaces to attach to. The backing of the
Peel'n'Stick is slippery and pop dots will not adhere. The
basket also needs to be trimmed, but it does not need to be on cardstock
(for this card). To trim within the handle, poke your scissors
through the center and cut several rays to the edge. Then just cut
the sections off.
3. Score the back Peel'n'Stick on the back of the basket.
TIP: Score just where the handles are starting up and remove the
bottom section. Place it onto the card. After you have the
basket part positioned, remove the Peel'n'Stick from the handle and
position.
4. Place the bottom leaf onto the basket.
5. Using 1/16 pop dots, place the leaves "in" the
basket. Be sure to attach the pop dots to the cardstock of the
background sheet. The pop dots will not stick to velvet.
6. Using the 1/8 pop dots, place the bow onto the card. Again,
be sure to attach the pop dots to the cardstock of the background sheet.
7. Complete the inside of the card.
Fall/Thanksgiving Scene(CE07)
Stamps: Tree, Basket, and Leaves by Holly Berry House;
Bear by Suzy's Zoo/Rubber Stampede; Inside Sayings (not shown) by
Darcies
Supplies you will need:
markers
dries clear adhesive
red (or your choice) glitter
Pop Dots 1/16 & 1/8
double stick tape or glue
Instructions
1. Color images.
2. Using the dries clear adhesive, apply the glitter to the bear's
shirt and patches. Allow to dry. The reason we did this is because
the shirt and patches are solid rubber and when stamping in black, they
appeared completely black. We, of course, needed more color!!
3. Detail trim the velvet leaves.
4. Complete the inside and the envelope.
5. Layer the front of the card, trimming the layers if necessary.
6. Attach the bear and basket to the card.
7. Arrange the leaves accordingly (leave the Peel'n'Stick on them
until you are sure how you want to place them!).

Poinsettia Basket (CE08)
Stamps: Basket by Darcies; Star Flower by DeNami Design;
Bow by Impressive Stamps; Buttons by Jesse James
Supplies you will need:
double stick tape or glue
dries clear adhesive
Pop Dots: 1/16; 1/8; 1/4
decorative scissors (we used Ripple)
Instructions
1. Detail cut the flowers, bow, and basket.
***Note: the flowers and the bow need to be placed onto additional
cardstock. You can place the images onto the cardstock first and then
detail trim. However, if you lack strength or control in your cutting
hand, you may wish to trim each layer individually.
2. Layer the basket onto white cardstock and trim with the decorative
scissors of your choice.
3. Layer the decorative paper onto the card.
4. Double stick tape or glue the basket onto the card. Arrange
the flowers as you wish. Attach the flowers to the card using the
various dimensions of pop dots. Attach the bow with pop dots (we used
the 1/8). Be sure when you are attaching the images that the pop dots
are attached to the paper--they will not stick to the velvet.
Sometimes it is easier if you attach the pop dots to the paper/card and then
position the images accordingly.
5. Complete the inside.
6. Using dries clear adhesive, glue the poinsettia and leaf buttons to
the card. Allow to dry.
7. Complete the envelope.
Classic Christmas Tree (CE09)
Stamps: Hearts and Flakes Tree by Holly Berry House Originals
Supplies you will need:
double stick tape or glue
decorative scissors (we used Provincial)
dries clear adhesive
This Creative Express Project will consist of two identical cards.
Instructions
1. Detail trim the trees.
2. Cut and layer the papers and cardstock onto the card.
3. Place the trees onto the cards.
4. Complete the insides.
5. Use dries clear adhesive to attach the bows.
6. Complete the envelope.
