CEX194  Velvet Stockings Hung with Care

Stamps by:  Stocking by Heartlooms; Fireplace and Fire by Darcies.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Regular Scotch tape
Pop dots:  1/8 inch
Glitter Glue or
Dries clear adhesive with crystal glitter
Markers

Instructions:

1.  Okay, ladies!!  This card is a bit "piddly", but it is sure cute!!  I have been trying to put together a card with with fireplace for years now.  Mom had the idea of increasing this fireplace to fit our stocking and wa--la!!  Here is the fireplace card!!
2.  Cut out the interior of the fireplace.  Using regular scotch tape, tape the dark brown square so that it is the interior of the fireplace.
3.  Double stick tape or glue the fireplace onto the main card and detail trim so that the whole card is the shape.
4.  Color the fire with markers.
5.  If you are adding glitter to the fire, do so now and allow to dry.  (The sample is shown without glitter).
6.   Place the red stockings onto the support stock and detail trim.  Be sure to trim some of the cuff off on all sides so that the white cuff can fit better.  ***If you want to have one stocking smaller (like for a baby), cut on the inside of the embossed lines.  That way, you keep the shape but it does make it smaller.
7.  Cut out the white cuffs, heels, and toes.  I was super busy and accidentally did all the layering for you--ooops!!  Anyway, they are on PNS, then white support stock, then back on PNS.  ***If you are making one smaller, again just trim to the inside of the embossed lines.
8.  Score and remove the PNS on the white pieces and place them directly onto the red stockings.  Some of the white cuff may overhang on the back and that is okay.
9.  Using the pop dots, position the stockings onto the main card.  You can put a pop dots on the back of the cuff that may be overhanging for support.
10.  Merry Christmas!!!
