Potted Sunflower Card (CE02)
Potted Sunflower by Impressive Stamps, Butterfly by Stampendous! Saying by Printworks

Supplies you will need:

double stick tape or glue;
shades of green markers and/or watercolor colored pencils

Instructions:

1.  Color the leaves of the sunflower.  We lay down a layer of watercolor
pencil--usually two shades, and then color over with markers.  Because
the pencils are watercolor, the markers will provide the moisture to
blend the pencils.  This is just another fun (and easy) way to add natural
      shading to your project.
2.   Detail trim the velvet pieces.  For specific instructions, please refer to
      Velvet Embossing Instructions
3.   Layer your papers onto your card.
4.   Position the flower pot and flower onto the card.  You must pay
especially close attention to the flower--you must have it perfectly lined
up.  Remember the handy trick of scoring the back of the Peel'n'Stick to
get it started.  Position the butterfly onto the card.
5.   Complete the inside of the card.  A blank piece of cardstock is provided
for the saying of your choice.
6.   There were two butterflies in you kit.  Place the second butterfly by
your inside saying (or keep it for whatever you would like to use it for).
7.   Color the sunflower on the envelope--we don't want to send "naked"
       envelopes through the mail!!!!)

Sunshine and Beehive Card (CE03)
Sun stamp by Azadi/Limited Edition; Beehive by Limited Edition; Just Saying Hello by Hero Arts;  To Add a Little Sunshine to Your Day by SonLight; Wishing You Sunny Days and Bees (envelope) by SonLight;  Buttons by Jesse James Buttons

Supplies you will need:

double-stick tape or glue
dries clear adhesive
pop-dots (1/8 thick)

Instructions:

1.  Place sun onto brilliant yellow cardstock and detail trim.  The sun is going to be
pop-dotted out, so it needs the stability of cardstock underneath it.  Detail trim
     the beehive.
2.  Layer cardstock and paper onto the card.
3.  Position the beehive and the sun onto the card.
4.  Trim saying to desired size, layer, and attach to card.
5.  Complete the inside of the card.  As
you can see by the example, we layer
the inside of our cards as well.  We
have found that the card is balanced
       both visually and weight-wise by
continuing the layering process on all
panels of the card.  For more on this
topic, please see the Fall Newsletter.
6.    The blank piece of cardstock at the
bottom is a signature card.  This is a
       must on dark colored cards.
7.    Once the inside of the card is done,
using a dries clear glue, attach the
buttons to the front of the card.  Allow
       to dry.
8.   Complete the envelope (not shown).

Velvet Ghosts/Halloween (CE04)
Large Ghost by Darcies;  Other Ghost by Impressive Stamps; Halloween Headstone by Penny Black;  Birch Trees by Stampendous!;  Moon and Sky by VIP; Bats by Holly Berry House;  Inside Sayings:  Ghoulish Greetings by Judikins;  Spook-tacular Day by Darcies.

Supplies you will need:

chalk and applicators
pop dots 1/16, 1/8 inch
double stick tape or glue
dries clear adhesive
                                                       cystal glitter glue

1.  Using chalk, color the background piece, bats,  and the headstone.  I
started with pink, then purple, and two shades of blue (on the
background).   Be sure to "fix"  the chalk with hairspray or some type of
     fixative spray.
2.  Layer the background piece onto the main card.  Using 1/16 Pop Dots,
attach the headstone to the card.
3.  Attach the ghosts to the white cardstock and detail trim.
4.  Layer the large ghost onto the card with 1/8 Pop Dots.  Layer the other
ghosts onto the card with 1/16 Pop Dots.
5.  Complete the inside of the card.

6.  Attach the orange heart to the large ghost and allow it to "set-up".  Attach
the black bow to the heart.  Attach the other bows and eyes to the ghosts.
7.  Attach the witch's hat to the ghost and allow to set-up.  Attach the
rhinestones to the hat and allow to dry.
8.  Attach the bats to the card with glue or either size of Pop Dots.  It is fun
to have varying dimensions with the use of the Pop Dots.
9.  Apply light touches of glitter glue to the moon, sky, and trees and allow to
     dry completely.
10.  Complete the envelope.

Santa Boots (CE05)
Santa Boot Stamp by The Cottage Stamper  (You will have to supply your own saying and envelope stamp, since all of mine have been misplaced!!) Buttons by Jesse James Buttons

                                                    Supplies you will need:

double stick tape or glue
1/8 inch Pop Dots
dries clear adhesive

1. ***This is a little weird so we will have you start with this first.  Take the white part of the boot which is already on Peel'n'Stick.  Before you detail trim, place the parts onto white cardstock, and then onto the additional Peel'n'Stick.  This way, you are only detail trimming once.  However, if you lack strength in your hand, you may want to trim each layer on at a time.  White velvet almost always needs to be placed on white cardstock for "support" of its color.
2.  Detail trim the red boots leaving the top part on.  You will place the white part over the red.  You may need to trim the top red part so that it does not show out beyond the white.  Also, we trimmed off the "shadow" of the boot by the toes.
3.  Place on of the boots onto red cardstock.  This will be the Pop Dotted boot.
4.  Using a dries clear adhesive, position the buttons onto the stocking.  Place the white part onto the top of the boot.  (Remember--it is on Peel'n'Stick, so all you need to do is peel the backing off).  Allow the button some time to set-up.
5.  Layer the papers onto the front of the card trimming if necessary.
6.  Complete your inside saying (sorry, I could not find mine!).
7.  Complete your envelope.
8.  Position the bottom boot (on the right).  Using Pop Dots to adhere, position second boot onto the card.  Be sure to position the pop dots so that they will adhere to the paper.  They will not adhere to the velvet of the other boot.  You will need to lay this together first to see how they will fit.
9.  Do you have the Christmas Spirit yet?!?!!?
