Orange:  3 1/4 x 4 1/8
White (saying):  2 3/4 x 4

Instructions:

1.  Using colored pencils, color the brooms, shoes, and hats on the background sheets.
2.  Cut out the paper images leaving a large margin around the areas of the hats, pinafore, and shoes.  The kitty's hat (without the pumpkin) is on support cardstock and positioned separately from the kitty.  You need the arms from the partial witch piece.  Color with markers and allow to dry.  We have found that it is better to not completely color the kitties black.  By leaving some white or gray, we achieve proper dimension.
3.  Layer the cardstocks and decorative paper onto the main card.
4.  Trim some (but not detail trim) of the velvet images.
5.  Place the velvet images onto the paper images and detail trim.  If this is confusing, let me know.
6.  Complete the inside of the card.
7.  The kitty on the pumpkin and the greeting, "Best Witches" are flat on the card.
8.  The kitty and  the separate hat are attached with 1/16 inch pop dots.
9.  The witch is attached to the main card with 1/8 inch pop dots.  Her arms are attached with 1/16 inch dots.
10.  Using the dries clear adhesive, glue on the ribbons, rhinestones, and  buttons and allow to dry.
11.  It took me a week to get this card the way I wanted it.  There is a lot to it, but it is definitely worth it!!  Happy Halloween Girls!!

CEX92  Halloween Birdhouse Card

Stamps by:  Birdhouse (enlarged from original size), bats, ghosts, moon, and sign by Holly Berry House;  Witch Bear and Ghoulish Greetings by Judi-kins;  Spider, Pumpkin, and Candle by The Cottage Stamper;  Jack-o-lantern by The Stamp Pad;  Sayings by Darices.

Supplies needed:

Double stick tape or glue
Pop Dots:  1/16, 1/8, 1/4 inch
Markers
Sponges (or ColorBox Stylus tips)
White, magenta, and blue ink pads

Card size:  10 1/2 x 14 1/2
Folds to 7 1/4 x 10 1/2

Instructions:

1.  Lightly color birdhouse with the crayon (do not use water with it).
2.  Using the stylus tip and the ColorBox pads or sponges, create the clouds by sponging layers of the different colors onto the main card.
3.  Cut out paper images.  Color and allow to dry.
4.  Detail trim the velvet ghosts.  These are going on cardstock for support, so you may trim both layers at once.
5.  Attach the vellum strip with the candles and the white supporting strip to the back of the birdhouse.
6.  Attach 1/16 inch pop dots to the back of the birdhouse and the ghost who is coming out of the window.  Attach down to the main card.
7.  Position the other ghosts to the card.  The one “holding” the sign is flat on the card.  The other one is on with 1/16 inch dots.    ***NOTE:  The bottom 1/3 of the ghost “holding” the sign will need to be cut off.
8.  One witch bear is attached to the card with ¼ inch dots—the other is with 1/8 inch dots.  The spiders are attached with 1/8 inch dots.  The sign is attached with ¼ inch dots.  All the other images are flat on the card…
9.  With the exception of the bats.  Shape the wings so they are dimensional, then attach just the body part to the main card.
10.  Chalk the sayings and spray to set.  Allow to dry, then attach inside the card.
11.  This was one of the very first velvet embossed cards we ever did--many moons ago (no pun intended).  Happy Halloween!!  Just a side note:  I tend to go a little nuts for Fall and Halloween!!  I just love it--love it--love it!!
